The Sweet Sensation

People are assuredly anticipating Sonic Youth's new album due out in June, Rather Ripped. The album sees the band continuing on much in the way they have for over a decade, and I'm just fine with that. They do what they do very well, and I'll keep listening if they'll keep making it. Some of the tracks sort of sound the same which is kind of a bummer, but not enough to make it terrible.
This track, "Do You Believe in Rapture?" was rumored to be the album's title for awhile. It's a slower SY song, with Thurston on mic duty. It's contemplative and never really breaks free into a rollicking jam like many of their other songs. The tune is kept on a short leash, but it's wonderful all the same.

Do You Believe in Rapture?
Obscure Sound has the first two tracks from the album, including the rocking "Incinerate."

What's this rapture stuff about? Are they born again or something?
